Fellowship Course – November 13, 2025

This new course is designed for Fellows and trainees in Cardiac Surgery who want to build a strong foundation in the treatment of atrial fibrillation (AF). Through a mix of expert lectures, interactive anatomy, and hands-on simulation, participants will gain the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to confidently begin their journey in AF surgery.

Led by an experienced faculty of Key Opinion Leaders and supported by AtriCure’s Professional Education team, the course combines clinical insights, guideline-based learning, and immersive training to prepare the next generation of surgeons.

• Surgical Ablation Techniques – Step-by-step understanding of concomitant ablation, MAZE IV, and minimally invasive approaches.
• Hands-On Simulation – Practice essential procedural skills at CADet stations, rotating through open and minimal access lesion sets.
• Faculty ‘Fireside’ Talk – A leading surgeon shares their career journey and vision for the future of AF surgery.

Participants will leave with a clear understanding of AF surgical foundations, practical skills for the operating room, and a defined pathway to continued education through advanced programs, mentoring, and digital education.
